From the 50 designs that I had drawn in preparation, I selected some to include in my collection. Being a capsule collection, I needed to include specific details and shapes that would run through the whole collection in order to make it consistent, so insight of this, I had to develop the shapes slightly on some of the designs.

Reviewing my designs, I felt that the shapes don't reflect my structural influences. As I was very rushed for time, I didn't spend as much time as I think I should have on the development of the initial sketches that I did.

To fix this issue, I am going to look back at all my initial sketches and select different looks for development that run closer to the themes that I have researched and created. hopefully this will then allow me to design a capsule collection that is more relevant to my research and that I see as successful.

This workshop has definitely opened my eyes to the amount of work that goes into achieving a successful capsule collection. The fact that there has to be a consistent style running throughout, whether that be down to the colours, shape, shoes or even button engravement.
