Even though there was a downfall with the lighting, I feel that it has made particular shots stronger and more professional. If I were to chose a publication to feature in, it would probably be between i-D and Hero magazine. This is because I feel that the aesthetics would run parallel and would be a subject matter that they both would want to talk about.
With my finished images, it was time to present in an exhibitional format to the rest of the group. I was a little nervous about this process as I hadn't completed my sketchbook to the standard in which I wanted to.
I received feedback from a few members of my class from a comments sheet left by my work. One comment read "I really like the presentation of your sketchbook and also your promotion side of things. But I think there is more room for development of your designs." This is a statement that I totally agree with. I always feel slightly rushed when it comes to design development, I think it is due to my sometimes lack of time management.
To improve this for my next project, I think I should start my research a little earlier than I have previously as this could help me focus my time more on nurturing the development of my design ideas.
Overall, I have immensely enjoyed this project! I feel it has emancipated myself as a designer and set me on my way to truly expressing my own style and handwriting.
