My initial thoughts on my images were that they were strong individually however as a collective they didn't unite aswell as id hoped. What I think the issue is was that I had tried to combine too many different elements of attachment and structure expecting spectators to automatically see the link that I have made in my head, where clearly this isn't as explicit as I need it to be. For example, with my structure concept board, I had included a shot from an androgynous shoot that I did conceptually linking it to structure as androgynous dressing people breaking the current structure that society holds over how each sex should dress by inventing an entirely new way of thinking.
Comparing this to my other images which are quite literal in the sense of visually being structured, it doesn't necessarily forge the connection or flow on the board as you can see in the image.
What I need to do now is try to find that link that will successfully associate all the images, whether that be finding another image, editing them in a way that successfully illustrates the concept or sourcing new images and starting a fresh.
